Primele impresii despre 'Westworld'

Tocmai ce am terminat de vizionat primul episod al serialului Westworld. Mai e cineva care a așteptat o sută de ani să înceapă serialul ăsta? Știam eu că sunt singura.

Man, what a show! Sunt total vrăjită de universul Westworld, chiar dacă producțiile SF nu sunt preferatele mele, de obicei, asta chiar m-a prins și prevăd un binge-watching zilele astea (cred că urmează episodul 2 după ce termin articolul de față). Am vrut însă să fac o mică pauză și să vă anunț că serialul a revenit cu al 2-lea sezon ieri – primul episod este disponibil pe HBO GO.

EN: I just watched the Westworld pilot. Is there anybody else that waited so long to watch this show? I knew I was the only one.

Man, what a show! I am mesmerized by the universe presented in Westworld, even though SF productions are not usually my favorites, this one really got me hooked and I know I am gonna binge-watch it this week (I think I’ll watch episode 2 after I am done writing this article actually). I wanted to take a break and let you all know that the second season of Westworld premiered last night and the first episode is available here.

Acum câteva zile HBO Românnia a organizat un eveniment de lansare pentru al 2-lea sezon, la care nu am putut ajunge din punct de vedere logistic și logic (având în vedere că nu sunt la zi cu serialul), așa că Marius a avut grijă să facă act de prezență și să ne zică și nouă cum a fost promovat începutul de sezon al serialului premiat cu 5 trofee Emmy. Și el zice așa:

Marius aici. Am ajuns cumva la vizionarea primului episod din sezonul al doilea al serialului Westworld. Știam doar că era organizat un eveniment ce urma să fie precedetat de vizionare. După ce am ajuns la locul cu pricina, m-am trezit într-o scenetă jucată în vestul sălbatic, având la bază chiar plotul serialului. De o parte aveai barul cu tot felul de băuturi, iar în partea opusă îl zăreai pe pianistul care-ți cânta de zor. Printre mesele de poker și dansatorii impecabili, regăseai energia pozitiva a invitaților. Cât despre episodul vizionat, acesta reprezintă un început de sezon solid, care te provoacă să-ți pui mai multe întrebări despre ce va urma. Overall, un eveniment foarte drăguț. Mulțumim, HBO.

Așadar, dragilor, concluzionez simplu: Westworld e unul dintre serialele bune ce rulează în prezent și vă invit să faceți ca mine (dacă n-ați făcut-o deja), hit that play button!

EN: A few days ago, HBO Romania organised a launch event for the second season, event that I couldn’t attend because it was logistic impossible, and also illogical (because I haven’t seen the first season yet), so with that being said, Marius took care of things and he was there to tell us all about this new season of a show that won 5 Emmy Awards. This is what he told me:

Marius here. I got to the special premiere of the first episode of the second season of Westworld. I only knew that they had organised an event which was gonna be preceded by the screening. I got there and I found myself in the middle of the Wild West. On one side you had the bar with all kinds of drinks, and on the opposite side you had the pianist who was singing to you. Among the poker tables and impeccable dancers, you found the positive energy of the guests. As for the episode, it is a solid start for the season that makes you to ask more questions about what will happen next. Overall, a very nice event. Thank you, HBO.

So, my dears, I have only one conclusion: Westworld is one of the best tv series that airs these days and I invite you all to do as I do (if you didn’t do it already), hit that play button!
